Taking its name from the former publisher and owner of The Washington Post, McLean has it all! Lovely neighborhoods with large wooded lots, great public and private schools, and easy access to I-495, the Dulles Toll Road and both national and Dulles Airports. And yet, the community’s natural beauty, with much assistance form the Potomac River and the George Washington Parkway, has been well preserved. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the tree-lined streets, large shaded lawns, and a rolling terrain of secluded communities.
McLean Station on the Washington Metro Silver Line is scheduled to open in 2014, two miles west of the village near Tysons Corner.
McLean real estate, which is home to three Fortune 500 companies and the largest shopping mall on the East Coast, Tysons Corner Center. It is home to many diplomats, members of Congress and high-ranking government officials partially due to its proximity to Washington, D.C. and the Central Intelligence Agency.
